The Carbon County Economic Development Corporation (CCEDC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the economic future of Carbon County, Wyoming.

The goals of the CCEDC are shaped by

the following guiding objectives:

• Retention and expansion of existing businesses in Carbon County.
  
  
• Encourage entrepreneurs to create new and inventive businesses that will help build a broader economic base that will stabilize the quality of life opportunities for Carbon County in the 21^st Century.
  
  
• Quantify the demand for housing in the county, and use the information to work with local community groups, governments, developers, and builders to create projects that will create affordable workforce housing.
  
  
• Establish partnerships to facilitate infrastructure development throughout the county that support economic development.

• Work to develop commercial and industrial sites that are affordable and attractive to recruit new and expanding businesses.
  
  
• Communicate the economic and community development message through community outreach that embraces an understanding of the County's needs and wants while partnering with industry, local and county governments, and the Wyoming Business Council.
